💖Kindness Starts Here: Why This Work Matters

Last week I had one of those conversations that stays with you.
I met with a dear friend, who also happens to be a personal branding and marketing expert, and she gently (but thoroughly!) put me through my paces. We dug into everything: my vision, my mission, my values… what I offer, why I do it, and what really sets me apart.
And I’ll be honest, this part doesn’t come naturally to me.
Talking about yourself, explaining why someone should choose you… it can feel uncomfortable. It’s not exactly something most of us are taught to do. But what emerged from that conversation wasn’t a perfectly crafted sales pitch. It was something much simpler and much more important.
I realised that at the heart of everything I do is this:
I just want to help people feel happier 🙂
Happier in their bodies.
Happier in their minds.
Happier in their everyday lives.
And I truly believe that through movement and mindset, through yoga, strength training and hypnotherapy, that is completely possible.
Because this is what I do myself!
These are tools. Tools that can help you feel stronger, calmer, more confident and more like yourself again. Tools that can genuinely change lives.
So… why choose me?
That was the tricky question.
And the answer wasn’t about being the best, the most experienced, or the most impressive.
It came down to this:
Authenticity. Kindness. And the importance of a bit of fun along the way 🙏🏻
I care deeply about creating a space where you feel comfortable being exactly who you are. No pressure, no judgement, just support, encouragement and definitely a giggle or two along the way 🤭
Because I don’t believe transformation has to feel কঠিন or intimidating. I think it can feel supportive, uplifting… even enjoyable.
And perhaps the most important thing that came out of today was this:
Be your own best friend 🧑🏻🤝👩🏽
It sounds simple, but it’s something so many of us struggle with.
We’re quick to criticise ourselves. To push harder. To expect more. To compare our lives to those we see on Instagram (sorry, but most of that is fake!)
But what if we started from a different place?
What if we treated ourselves with the same kindness, patience and encouragement that we offer to others?
Because when we do that, everything shifts.
The way we treat others will change. The way we think will change. The way we show up & see the world will change.
And that’s why my next yoga block is called:
Kindness 💖
This block is an invitation to take some time for yourself, tune in and start building that relationship with yourself. No guilt, shame, feelings of failure in this space. Just support and self trust. Through movement and moments of stillness, we’ll explore what it really means to support ourselves, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.
If you’ve been feeling tired, disconnected, or just a bit stuck… this is your space to come back to yourself.
