Let me tell you about the power of Yoga-informed bodyweight training.

So often we think we need weights to get strong, but working with your own bodyweight can be far more challenging than lifting light dumbbells. After all, your body is the load.

Squats, lunges, planks and controlled transitions require your muscles to support, stabilise and control you in real-life movement patterns.

It's vital that we don’t just strengthen but we strengthen well. We need to focus on alignment, joint health & modifications are non-negotiable to build strength safely.

In this 30 minute bodyweight strength class you will begin to build muscle & bone, with:

✔️ Good alignment and posture

✔️ A focus on moving well and improving balance to reduce risk of falls

✔️ Techniques to support and stabilise joints

This builds all-round control and resilience, keeping us strong, capable and independent for the long haul.

And if your goal is to lift heavy weights, this work matters even more.

Before adding load, we need to prepare the body. Through a smart blend of yoga and bodyweight training, we strengthen key muscles, improve joint stability and movement quality, and reduce the risk of injury, so when you do lift heavier, your body is truly ready.
